About the Program

 

• We’re looking for a trend researcher and content writer to join our team

• Aimed at university students or fresh graduates with basic research experience

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Researching and creating content that showcases a clear understanding of emerging trends across various segments and markets. 

• To deliver curated content in either written, visual or video formats. 

• Desk research: research secondary sources to support analysis and interpretation of upcoming trends

• Field research: conduct primary research with the team

• Analysing different markets - beauty, fashion, home, interior, food, drinks and technology

• Write content, ensuring content standards and ready for sign off with team lead

• Producing analytical in-depth research and meeting deadlines with ease

 

About You 

 

• Currently in University or a Fresh Graduate 

• A highly motivated, culturally aware & forward thinking individual with a curious attitude towards life and changing behaviours 

• A passion for trends, futures, consumers, brands, lifestyles and innovations

• Ambitious and willing to work in a flexible and remote environment

• Able to work independently and take initiative and autonomy of work with minimal involvement required from team leaders

• Eager to play a role in reimagining the future

• Keen interest in Technology, Beauty, Fashion, Retail & Health & Wellness, Home & Interiors and or Food & Drink (must have a strong interest in at least 3 of these sectors) 

 

Skills & Expertise

 

• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to analyse and examine data from a range of sources

• Impeccable written & grammatical skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and share ideas freely - no idea is too big for us 

• Strong presentation skills with an unwavering eye for detail and visible organisation skills with a good understanding of design and aesthetics

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PPT (experience in working with Adobe & Canva is a plus) 

• Basic knowledge of sociology and consumer psychology

• Strong photo research skills with the ability to find appropriate images that fit the brief 

• Basic understanding of sustainability and strategic thinking
